Why Let’s Play Exists
Let’s Play was built around a simple belief: children thrive when they are genuinely known.
We wanted to create a place that felt smaller, calmer and more personal - where educators have the time to build real relationships with children, families know the people caring for them, and childhood isn't rushed in the name of getting ahead.
That means being intentional about staying small. It means familiar educators, predictable rhythms, meaningful play and giving children the time and space to develop at their own pace.
Our approach is influenced by Rudolf Steiner and Waldorf education, but Let’s Play isn’t about following a philosophy for the sake of it. We take what aligns with what we believe children need most: connection, rhythm, imagination, nature, meaningful experiences and the freedom to actually be children.
The Educators your child will know
One of the things we value most at Let’s Play is consistency.
We want your child to know the people who greet them in the morning, understand who they reach for when they need comfort, and build genuine relationships with the educators they spend their days with.
Our team works closely together, sharing what we notice, celebrating the little things and making sure each child is known beyond simply what happened that day.
Because for us, great care isn’t just about having qualified educators in the room. It’s about having people who genuinely know your child.
A place made for childhood
Our Belrose Preschool has been intentionally created to feel warm, calm and lived-in - a place where children can move, create, play and explore.
Inside, natural materials, open-ended play and familiar daily rhythms create a sense of warmth and belonging. Outside, children garden, explore, get messy, care for our guinea pigs and experience the changing seasons.
Our world extends beyond the gate too, with the natural beauty of Belrose giving children opportunities to explore and experience their wider community.
